Petty Officer (Ret) Jesse Franklin Curtsinger

Jesse Franklin Curtsinger, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024.

Jesse was born in Fayetteville, AR on September 11, 1938, to the late Jesse Ray Curtsinger and Ethelyne Greear. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Darlene Curtsinger and son, Jeffery Curtsinger.

Jesse is survived by his daughter, Denae (Wade) Huffman, brother, Robert (Benita) Curtsinger, grandchildren, Joel Huffman, Jessalyn (Clayton) Schmidt, Joanna, (Jonathan) Martin, and Julia (Ian) Mansfield, and four great grandchildren.

Jesse was married to Darlene for 60 years.  They loved to travel together.  Their great passion was serving the Children's Haven International in Reynosa, Mexico.  Jesse loved the children there, served on the board and supported CHI in any way he could.  They were truly family to him and Darlene.

He served his country for six years in the US Air Force.  He worked for Arkansas Western Gas Company and Decco Construction before returning to the military.  He served in the US Navy until retirement.
